Random Musings

1. Although people often check the expiration date before putting a piece of food in their mouth, they rarely do the same for the people they bring into their lives and beds. Relationships—platonic and romantic—are like food for the soul, so read people’s labels carefully before consuming years of their BS.

2. Everybody says they want love everlasting but very few are willing to do what it takes to earn it let alone keep it when they actually have love in hand.

3. You can never blame someone else for a decision that you made willingly because the choice was and always will be yours alone. The time you would spend doubting yourself can be better served by making sure you don’t repeat past mistakes.

20. A goal with no clear plan is just a dream.

21. If you’re not willing to lead by example, then you’re just in the way.

22. Sometimes loving yourself is harder than loving someone else, but both need to happen if either relationship stands a chance of succeeding.
